Smart contracts are written to be gas-efficient and secure, tested exhaustively, and reviewed with the assumption that they will be attacked, because public contracts holding value always are. Just as important is the experience around the chain: wallet connections, transaction states and errors that normal users can understand. Decentralisation only matters if real people can actually use the product, so we make the complexity invisible.
