When the people who write the code also sign off the quality, objectivity is almost impossible. They naturally test the paths they intended, make the same assumptions they built in, and share the blind spots that produced the defects in the first place. There is no dishonesty in this, it is human nature, but it means in-house verification often confirms what the team already believes rather than challenging it, and the issues that slip through are precisely the ones nobody thought to look for.

Independent testing breaks that loop. As an impartial third party with no stake in how the software was built, we approach it fresh, testing what it actually does rather than what it was meant to do, questioning the assumptions, and probing the corners insiders overlook.
